Internship Experience:
Alteryx's Internship Program is a place where students from varied backgrounds, identities, and experiences come together to lay the groundwork for their futures. Interns have the opportunity to contribute to real-life projects, build life-long connections through social events, and give back to our communities by participating in volunteer activities. Our Summer 2022 Internship Program will be a hybrid working experience that allows students to live and work in a remote environment while also offering opportunities to come together in person.

What You'll Do:
As a member of the Design team, you will,

• Work closely with creative directors, designers, and copywriters to help execute marketing strategies to generate demand across our platform offerings
• Creating and designing decks (pitches, creative reviews) in Keynote and creative explorations in Adobe CC programs
• Brainstorming and designing for digital and in-person creative and brand experiences
• Focus on building the Alteryx brand with compelling creative while maintaining high standards of design

• Work cross functionally to execute the creative vision and strategy for the brand of Alteryx
• Ability to comprehend concepts and process behind brand creative stewardship while learning when to break the rules
• Design beyond the latest trends and work with a wide range of styles

Required Skills:

• Students currently enrolled in a degree program in pursuit of Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Advertising with creative emphasis or anything related to visual design

• Ability to work for 12 consecutive weeks during the Summer 2022
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and should not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Students graduating between December 2022 through June 2023
• Strong time management skills

• Personal/professional experience working in a creative environment

Valued Skills:

• Strong desire for aesthetic and visual design
• Familiarity with Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD)
• Familiarity with Figma or Sketch, or desire to learn
• Have a desire for storying telling & branding
• Openness to iterative design and feedback

• Knack for keeping things organized
• Clear and concise communicator, both written and verbally
• Self-directed & self-motivated, works well in a goal oriented, team environment
• Ability to converse with cross-functional team members

Compensation:
Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary for this role is $28/hour. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
