Internship Experience:
Alteryx's Internship Program is a place where students from varied backgrounds, identities, and experiences come together to lay the groundwork for their futures. Interns have the opportunity to contribute to real-life projects, build life-long connections through social events, and give back to our communities by participating in volunteer activities. Our Summer 2022 Internship Program will be a hybrid working experience that allows students to live and work in a remote environment while also offering opportunities to come together in person.

What You'll Do:
As an intern on our FP&A Team you will:

• Evaluate large data sets, synthesize data, develop inquiries, and communicate strategic recommendations
• Build and maintain data models, reporting, data automation, key performance metrics, and dashboards to help drive key business rulings
• Support data analysis on company performance, reporting of financial metrics, and strategic initiatives to help drive better decision-making for the business
• Contribute to high visibility projects in support of various operations across the company.
• Serve as a leader in shaping the development and execution of data analytics best practices for the organization

• Conduct and investigate ongoing trends, variance analysis and performance indicators
• Develop predictive models to address sales and operational goals
• Present results of analysis to senior management across a wide range of functions
• Partner cross functionally to provide data and systems requirements needed to develop metrics
• Support implementation of systems to support and automate data

Required Skills:

• Students currently enrolled in a degree program in pursuit of an MBA or related graduate degree
• Ability to work for 12 consecutive weeks during the Summer 2022
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and should not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
• 2+ years of experience in finance or data analytics
• Demonstrated proficiency with tools like Salesforce, Tableau and Excel
• Ability to transform complex data into relevant insights and deliver presentations to various stakeholders, including senior leadership
• Capable of contributing effectively in a team environment and partnering cross-functionally with key stakeholders
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

Valued Skills:

• Students within 1 year of graduation preferred (e.g., graduating between December 2022 through June 2023)
• Working knowledge of Alteryx, Anaplan, Snowflake, or other related software
• B2B technology or software experience in a product, marketing, finance, and/or operations
  capacity

Compensation:
Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary for this role is $38/hour. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
