In such a crucial role you will provide strategic people (HR) guidance and consultation and supports key business priorities for multiple global client groups including Compliance and Product & Platform. Partners with business leaders on strategic initiatives, and consults with leaders, employees, and cross-functional groups to solve complex organizational challenges.

In this role, you will advise and provide guidance to business leaders to determine the best approach to leadership and organizational development, organizational change, succession planning, recruitment, talent development, and other strategic people issues. Influence the organizational strategy and structure across several functions. You will bring a strategic and data-focused mindset to guide and help the organization create a better people experience. Manage and implement transformation efforts, including change management, process improvement, org design, and capability development. Leverage our talent philosophy and leadership capabilities to ensure robust succession plans, talent pipelines and manage workforce planning efforts.

You will analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the People Org Centers of Excellence and with business leaders to develop people and organization solutions and programs. Coach and consult with leaders to improve work relationships, build engagement, increase productivity and retention. Explain the “why” to the business in developing and driving people initiatives that meet business needs while remaining aligned with global company-wide strategies. Collaborate with subject matter experts across the HR COEs (Talent and Learning, Global Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, People Experience, etc.) to promote collaboration, break down siloes, and improve the employee experience. Partner closely with the Talent & Learning, Total Rewards, and People Services teams to synthesize and streamline HR initiatives across the organization, in alignment with business strategy and goals. Drive discussions on talent, succession, organizational health, diversity, and inclusion with business leaders.

For this role, you will need 6+ years of progressive responsibility in human resources and/or administration. Strong business orientation and acumen and understanding of global market dynamics. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and strong organizational effectiveness skills.

You will also need the ability to develop, present and defend compelling strategic plans leveraging external research to executive leadership coupled with the proven capability to implement those that are approved. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Experience working within a highly matrixed US multinational organization preferred. Brings a continuous improvement mindset; drives personal growth and development.

The annual gross base salary range is $81,204.01 $143,043.53. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
