ABOUT THE ROLE
Metric Theory is looking for a talented and passionate Office & HR Assistant to join our growing downtown Denver office! 

Office Assistant Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Denver office, which includes, but is not limited to, vendor and supply management, arranging lunches, travel, and managing the Denver executive apartment 
  • Manage IT onboarding and offboarding, data entry and management within various platforms
  • Assist with equipment procurement and maintenance
  • Implement ideas to enhance cost effectiveness and improve our office environment
  • Special projects as needed

HR Assistant Responsibilities 

  • Participate and provide support for company-wide and office specific culture and people events & initiatives (holiday party, summer retreat, happy hours, anniversary recognition, birthday celebrations)
  • Coordinate and manage the Denver Office Dogs program (we're a dog friendly office!) Participate in and lead various HR projects and initiatives
  • Data entry for onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes where applicable
  • Compliance with applicable federal, state and local employment laws/regulations
  • Maintain employee files


ABOUT YOU

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or similar 
  • 0-3 years of HR and/or office administration experience 
  • Passionate and driven to develop a career in HR and People Operations
  • Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and customer-service orientation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Organized and capable of multitasking and taking initiative with limited supervision
  • Strong team player who is motivated to enhance company culture and operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
