Granicus is looking for a reliable Benefits Specialist to manage the administration of Granicus benefit programs for US and UK employees. Granicus is the largest cloud solutions provider for government and provides technology that empowers government organizations to create better lives for the people they serve.

You will be responsible for day-to-day benefit administration. The ideal candidate is organized, can be trusted with sensitive information, has experience in relationship management and strategic communications.

What You Get To Do:

  • Explain, summarize, and publish material describing to employees the benefits available to them at Granicus
  • Educate employees during new hire benefit orientation, open enrollment, and during qualifying mid-year benefit changes
  • Determine and communicate employee benefit eligibility requirements
  • Address benefits issues and questions from employees, take suggestions, and act as intermediary between benefits providers, brokers, and employees
  • Manage workflow to ensure all enrollment transactions are processed accurately and timely for US and UK employees, including new hire benefits, terminated benefits, and COBRA administration
  • Participate in the annual 401K audit
  • Conduct routine and ad hoc audits and reviews of benefit enrollment to ensure continued accuracy
  • Process claims or requests for leaves of absence, disability, and worker's compensation
  • Handle all benefit compensation and reimbursement procedures
  • Monitor benefit participation and measure or increase engagement
  • Collaborate with HRIS & Payroll Specialist for benefit configuration, payments, and deductions within HRIS
  • Plan and execute wellness events including flu and health screening clinics, retirement education presentations
  • Understand, prepare, and file benefits-related compliance reporting for health, welfare, and retirement benefit plans

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of different benefit plans (health, welfare, retirement) and relevant regulations
  • Proficient in data recording and analysis
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities regardless of audience
  • Reliable with adherence to confidentiality standards and expectations
  • Proficient in MS Office is required and previous experience with Ultimate Software is preferred

1999 Broadway is located in-between Denver’s Downtown and Uptown neighborhoods. Granicus occupies the 36 and 37 floors of the building.
