Job Duties and Responsibilities
As a Fulfillment Supervisor at Dish, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the activities and efficiencies of our dedicated employees. Your responsibilities include daily review of employee productivity to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures, as well as determining the workload for team members. You'll be at the forefront of streamlining work procedures, preparing work schedules, and expediting workflow to enhance the efficiency of our operators.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities and efficiencies of employees in a manufacturing and distribution work environment for the assembly and distribution of 5G cell site hardware
  • Review productivity of employees daily for accuracy and compliance with established procedures, and determine workload for team members
  • Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow
  • Study and standardize procedures to improve the efficiency of our operators
  • Trace the history of unresolved issues to determine reasons for errors or needed corrections and recommend remedial actions to resolve discrepancies
  • Other responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Conduct daily and weekly meetings with team members
  • Capable of performing all job duties of direct reports at a high level of proficiency
  • Directly responsible for exempt/non-exempt staff, and responsible for the performance of subordinates
  • Provide leadership to a manufacturing team and promote employee engagement

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Leadership experience preferred in a manufacturing/warehouse, retail, and/or food service environment, and/or leadership experience in a volunteer/nonprofit environment
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, 5-S, and KanBan is preferred but not required
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems is preferred but not required


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent computer skills in Google Drive, especially Sheets
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance/procedure instructions
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

The employee must have the ability to use a keyboard and equipment typically found in a manufacturing/warehouse work setting. Individuals must have the ability to lift 45 lbs., stand for long periods, and the ability to operate a pallet jack.

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $60,000.00/Hour - $83,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
