Franchise Development Manager

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing RingCentral's strategy for engaging and expanding franchise partnerships. This senior-level position requires a proven track record in developing and implementing successful go-to-market strategies within the franchise ecosystem. The position manages an existing portfolio of active partnerships in which increasing current sub-unit penetration rates is the objective and ongoing relationship management is the goal, while also working to identify and onboard net new partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the telecommunications and technology industry, coupled with strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
To succeed in this role you must:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for new franchise partnerships, aligning with RingCentral's overall business objectives
- Identify key franchise partners and collaborate with the sales and business development teams to establish and strengthen relationships
- Meet/exceed assigned quarterly sales quota
- Develop and expand relationships with assigned segment partners to increase MRR and market share while maintaining profitability from a sales and overall business standpoint
- Become an industry expert with respect to the partnerships assigned. Become fluent with how the RingCentral value proposition fits the needs of the industry and have the ability to illustrate how our product can increase the value proposition of our industry partners
- Develop and implement programs to enable franchise partners, including training, resources, and ongoing support
- Ensure effective communication channels with franchise corporate leadership to facilitate the exchange of information and effective use of our technology
- Analyze market segments to tailor RingCentral's offerings and create targeted strategies for different franchise categories
- Work cross functionally with aligned marketing resources to deliver on company and partnership goals
- Drive requirements and management of the development of marketing and sales collateral focused on increasing sub-unit penetration rates
- Participation and optimization of industry events; such as trade shows and seminars (travel up to 25% of the time)
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced sales environment with expertise in Business Development, partner management, and Franchise/Partnerships or Business Consulting
- Intentional and proactive professional approach
- Understanding of franchise and association business mode
- Self starting, learning-based approach towards professional opportunities
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce
- Experience using Outreach or similar tool

If you are hired in Colorado, California, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Maryland, Washington, Connecticut, Rhode Island, the compensation range for this position is between $129,000 and $241,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
