About the team:

Robinhood is looking for a skilled and experienced Tax Planning Senior Manager to join our rapidly growing team. We are seeking driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple priorities – a self-starter who can work independently but who is also a good team-player. This role will report to the Sr. Director, Tax and will support our global tax planning and M&A functions.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of global tax planning strategies and initiatives
  • Provide tax due diligence, deal structuring, integration and post-integration assistance in connection with Robinhood’s M&A activities
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including finance, accounting, legal and product to provide tax guidance on new product launches and company initiatives
  • Monitor and provide updates on relevant domestic and international tax legislative developments and assess impact to Robinhood’s current and future business activities
  • Assist tax compliance and provision team with compliance and reporting matters on global tax planning strategies and initiatives
  • Manage federal and international tax audits

About you:

  • J.D. / LL.M in Tax, or Master’s degree in Tax preferred
  • 8+ years of tax planning experience with law firm, public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of domestic and international tax concepts related to corporate transactions and foreign activities
  • Can communicate sophisticated tax concepts in ways that are substantial to non-tax professionals
  • High attention to detail and can drive projects to completion in a deadline driven environment
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Inventive, resourceful and have remarkable analytical and problem solving abilities
