As Senior Accountant, you will be a seasoned accountant that demonstrates expert knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with GAAP, as well as an ability to grasp company financial policies and protocols.
You will sit directly with the Accounting team and report to the Corporate Controller.
Core Functions:
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Perform variance analysis and prepare account reconciliations, including complex bank accounts.
- Coordinate complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting team and other departments
- Complete inter-company journal entries
- Fixed Asset Management
- Credit Card administration including expense audits and activity uploads into the GL
- Assist with Financial Audit and Tax Prep (Personal Property and Corporate)
- Perform more advanced accounting transactions relating to prepaid expenses and accrued liabilities
- Sales and Use tax preparation and filings.
- Issuing quarterly royalty and distribution statements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting, particularly in aspects of financial reporting and account reconciliations
- High level of proficiency in Excel and accounting software programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Team oriented, with the ability to effectively communicate between all levels and departments of the organization
- Intellectual curiosity; ready to roll up sleeves
- NetSuite, Avalara and Concur experience a huge plus

Compensation:
Peaksware is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $52,270 - $87,116. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus.
