Primary Purpose of the Position:
Leads financial analyses for the renewal of existing customer sales contracts and new customer contract pricing and contract development. Responsible for the ongoing development, implementation, and reporting of pricing and margin strategies.
Essential Responsible Areas:
- Manages and develops a team of finance professionals responsible for supporting the Beverage Packaging North & Central America management approval process for contract renewals, non-contract business, new business, and new products.
- Oversees Economic Value Added (EVA) based financial analysis, including complex customer deals, scenario analyses, and capital planning implications.
- Sets, presents for approval, and implements pricing and contract terms strategy to address changes in the dynamic market and to support business priorities and new initiatives.
- Drives continuous improvement to profitability analysis processes and sales proposal workflows.
- Guides and monitors input and analysis in the forecasting and budgeting of the components of the Division’s net sales. Highlights opportunities, risks, and pain points in the Division’s contribution margin.
- Liaises directly with Global Key Account (GKA) and Regional Key Account (RKA) commercial teams and leadership to help drive business performance and to achieve alignment.
- Prepares special analysis projects as directed by management.
Position Requirement & Competencies:
- Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or work-related experience.
- Job related experience for 8 years minimum.
- MBA, CPA and/or CMA preferred.
- Ability to build relationships and influence in complex situations.
- Ability to operate and functionally use a computer with advanced skills in Excel.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations required for analysis of pricing and contracts.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and make recommendations.
- Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and delegate.
- Working knowledge of the following areas: accounting (both GAAP and cost), statistics, JD Edwards software, Essbase, all aspects of the metal beverage container industry, especially in the areas of manufacturing, finance, business principles and practices, customer relations
- Understanding of the sales and marketing field as it relates to the metal beverage container industry.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hiring Salary Range: $86,500 - $132,000 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
- Other Compensation: This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
