Manager of Finance

Our mission to make repeat orders easier began five years ago as a bootstrapped startup and today we're at the forefront of recurring billing software with over 200 remote-first employees around the globe processing hundreds of millions of dollars in sales every month.
Reporting to the CFO, we are looking for a Manager of Finance to join the ReCharge Financial Planning team and collaborate on building out the function and financial system architecture. Our Finance & Accounting leadership is focused on building a best in class team to help support our rapidly growing business.
What You’ll Do

- Manage all aspects of the Finance team; developing partnerships that facilitate early discovery of issues and quick resolution, and providing feedback and support across the organization.
- Determine, define, and manage new financial planning models including the following:
- Growth and Revenue Model
- Headcount forecasting and modeling
- Full Income Statement forecasting (including OPEX), in accordance with US GAAP and internal non-GAAP metrics
- Full Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecasting, in accordance with US GAAP
- Forecasting in foreign currencies, as appropriate
- Multi-Year plans
- Implement and manage the finance monthly and quarterly planning and reporting process, including the following:
- Reporting of KPI’s on a monthly basis
- Facilitate the external investor reporting
- Facilitate the annual operating plan and quarterly re-forecastsContinuous implementation and growth of internal process within the group
- Facilitate the internal management reporting, including monthly reporting and quarterly CFO reviews
- Support in the preparation of board materials
- Update and actualize the financial models as necessary and provide variance explanations on a monthly basis.
- Facilitate continuous improvement of financial forecast systems, methodology and process.
- Maintain alignment between financial forecast reporting and business needs; support diligence requests, as needed
- Implement and manage competitive landscape analysis and materials for internal and board use.
- Partner with internal resources to ensure alignment in financial inputs and support for accurate and robust forecasting (for example, in marketing and growth initiatives).
- Continuously improve reporting and analytics by working with internal resources and vendors to optimize and to generate meaningful management reporting.
- Strategic planning of team expansion and process improvement for future business growth.
- Establish an environment of continuous improvement to identify, develop and implement process changes that increase efficiency.
- Provide leadership during accounting software upgrades, new module enablement, and related software development.
- Drive process automation.
What You’ll Bring
- Typically, 5+ years of corporate finance experience
- Private company accounting experience required; public company accounting experience a plus
- 2+ years of management experience
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Experience building dynamic models across the P&L, B/S and CF
- Exposure to rolling financial forecasts, ideally for software businesses
- Exposure to current eCommerce payment methods, including Shopify and BigCommerce
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to interact effectively with various levels of staff and management
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
- Detail oriented and driven to do things right
- Self motivated with a passion for taking ownership of your work and delivering outcomes
- Effective in a dynamic environment, adapting to and managing change in a positive and proactive manner
- Ability to work remote-first in a rapidly scaling organization
- BA / BS in Accounting, Finance or other related discipline, MBA preferred
