Accounts Payable Specialist

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing accounting team here at Greenhouse!
As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you will use your expertise to tangibly impact a growing SaaS business. Reporting directly to our Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing our entire procure to pay process. This is a great opportunity to use your accounting expertise and your operational experience to make a meaningful impact. We’re looking for someone who can not only own day-to-day expense accounting and reporting, but also think big picture and contribute to the evolution of Greenhouse’s finance function.

What you'll do
- Oversee the entire procure to pay process from start to finish - process all payment requests, generate POs, match POs to invoices, code invoices, and generate vendor payment batches for approval
- Capture accruals to ensure reporting of expenses in correct accounting period
- Process all employee expense reimbursements in a timely manner
- Define, implement and automate scalable process improvements
You should have
- 2+ years of accounts payable experience
- Deep proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
- Degree in a financial field (Finance or Accounting), preferred
- Familiarity with Netsuite, procure to pay software such as bill.com; expense reimbursement software such as Abacus, TeamPay a big plus
