The Dr. Sears Wellness Institute is a well-recognized online educator in the exploding field of Health and Wellness Coaching. We are seeking a professional, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented person who shares our passion for health and wellness to join our team as our Web and Technology Manager and lead our small but growing organization through its next season of technological growth.
The Web and Technology Manager will excel at performing a variety of technology related tasks and oversee all online assets, including improvements, maintenance, and future development of our websites.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage front and back end of web and other online properties
- Continuous development and maintenance of websites
- Lead, oversee and provide vision for the organization’s online assets
- Oversee e-commerce software and web security
- Troubleshoot website and other technical issues
- Hire and manage outside contractors as needed
- Provide excellent technical support both internally and externally
- Utilize data and analytics to provide continuous web presence improvements
- Work with hosting company in managing dedicated server
- Make recommendations for future needs and software integration
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent CMS/WordPress experience
- Strong skills with HTML, HTML 5, CSS, cPanel
- Current with changing technical standards for front and back ends
- Knowledgeable with e-commerce and CRM
- Experienced at using Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools to improve on website performance
- Exceptional trouble-shooting skills and excellent research/problem solving
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple tasks and shifting priorities
- Good time-management, planning and organization skills
- Strong work ethic, stellar integrity and self-discipline are a must
- Experience with Moodle and multisites a plus.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Work history demonstrates job stability averaging 2+ years with previous employers
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
COMPENSATION
- $68,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year depending on experience
- Medical, dental, vision, 401k
