Primary Duties and Responsibilities

You will help to create a ground-breaking product which will shape the future of protecting digital intellectual property at all points in its life cycle from concept, design and creation all the way to physical manufacturing.

You will work with the VP of Engineering to develop our core MVP.

You will collaborate and brainstorm with members of the team to ensure that common strategic goals are met.

You are passionate about seemingly impossible technical challenges and will do whatever it takes to solve them.

Duties and Responsibilities Continued...

• Design and develop platform components that enable and simplify the PolyPort application
• Design and develop supporting APIs and libraries
• Rapidly prototype and iteratively refine platform level capabilities
• Develop enhanced unit, integration and performance testing automation to verify the quality of our platforms
• Support development teams that use our platforms, improving developer experience from feedback
• Deploy enterprise-level updates to the platform
• Write technical documentation, update our internal site to better socialize our products and capabilities
• Have results driven personality, high enthusiasm, energy, and confidence

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PHD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, EE or related field (Equivalent experience will be considered as well)
• Deep understanding of operating system architectures (Windows 10 a plus)
• Deep understanding of Cloud platforms (preferably both Azure and AWS)
• Deep understanding of Web Based eCommerce platforms (preferably Wordpress/Magento)
• Client/Server architectures and HTTPS SSL/TLS network communications
• Multi-platform development, both Windows (Client) and Linux (Server)
• Detailed understanding of .NET fundamentals including Memory management, Threads, Assemblies, Asynchronous and Concurrent Programming techniques
• Fluent in C# and JavaScript
• Understand Agile development practices
• Familiarity working with Linux systems
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to intuitively combine traditional techniques and cutting-edge research to develop novel abstractions
• Good technical documentation skills
• 2-5 years of enterprise application development experience with Visual Studio and C#
• Ability to thrive in a startup environment
• Creative Problem solver

Bonus Qualifications

• Background in encryption, privacy and security
• Cryptography, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption, hash algorithms, key generation, key management, and digital signatures.
• Deep technical understanding of common security vulnerabilities and risks, as well as countermeasures and compensating controls
• Specific programming languages: C/C++, .NET and Python
• Strong understanding of Virtualization, Sandboxing, Emulation
• Experience building application metadata

Extra Bonus Qualifications

• Knowledge of 3D Design, CAD, and or Unity
• Knowledge of AR/VR
• Interest in ML, AI and Blockchain technologies
