About the Role
The VP of Engineering, Customer Experience will have holistic ownership over Quantum Metric’s front-end Engineering organization. You’ll be responsible for execution and delivery of all customer-facing and interactive components of our product portfolio. This is a high impact role that involves heavy collaboration with Product Management, Product Design and Quality Assurance. By driving consistent delivery of exceptional customer experiences, you will be critical to our continued success.
You’ll oversee multiple existing teams, and you’ll expand additional teams to provide coverage across all of our key front-end experiences. This is a period of high growth within R&D at Quantum Metric. You’ll be expected to drive a strategy that meets the demands of that growth, while executing on our existing product roadmap commitments.

You’re action-oriented, which makes you comfortable with hard deadlines, chaos and ambiguity. You’re passionate about software development, specifically for the purpose of delivering high-quality, interactive experiences directly to end-users. You feel empathy, and a sense of ownership when a customer’s experience doesn’t hit the mark, and you take personal responsibility to improve it.
Responsibilites
- Drive measurable impact on revenue generation, by shipping products that people love.
- Collaborate with other leaders to build a technical vision for the products of tomorrow.
- Spearhead plans to modernize when necessary, without disrupting the product roadmap.
- Own organizational design and growth as we expand and our company strategy evolves.
- Evangelize the Engineering team’s accomplishments, both internally and publicly.
- Maintain and improve our culture, to attract and retain world-class talent.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
- 5+ years of professional experience in engineering leadership. Management responsibility for other director-level leaders is preferred.
- Track record of recruiting and coaching high-performance engineers and their leaders.
- Experience leading and growing engineering organizations from ~20 to 100+.
- Proven experience in building, delivering, and scaling customer-facing solutions.
- Familiarity with analytics, SaaS and business process transformation preferred.
- Advanced degree in a Software Engineering-related discipline preferred.
- You're a self starter who demonstrates courage and creativity in solving problems.
- You exhibit passion, persistence, and integrity in all that you do.
