As a Sr. Software Engineer you will design, develop, test, and implement software solutions and systems that leverage company data.

What you will do:

  • Designs and develops software products to meet business needs
  • Implements code using defined coding practices and complies with company standards related to variable names, procedure names, and file structure
  • Completes software unit tests and resolves errors in software
  • Provides regular status updates to stakeholders on all software product development and implementation activity
  • Records and tracks all software technical support requests
  • Researches and resolves all software technical support issues
  • Escalates complex and/or delayed software technical support requests
  • Works with technical support team to ensure all software-related support requests are resolved
  • Documents design and development strategy for software projects
  • Records code base with procedural overview and inline documentation
  • Stores code base in revision control system
  • Documents technical support requests and resolution details

What you will bring:

  • 5-8+ years of professional experience in a Software Engineering role
  • 5-8+ years experience working with AWS
  • Advanced proficiency in Javascript, Typescript, HTML, and CSS
  • Proficiency with JS frameworks & libraries: Angular 10+, Node, Express.js, Material Design, Bootstrap, etc.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Gitlab pipelines, Jenkins, and code deployment
  • Experience with deployment and integration on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Solid understanding of software development agile methodologies
  • Good understanding of modern responsive web development practices
  • Hands-on experience with the full range of the JS development stack
  • Sound enterprise engineering best practices, such as documentation, code reuse, collaboration, etc.
  • Ability to set priorities and manage time to complete tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to translate ideas into software designs
  • Ability to adhere to strict design principles, policies, and implementation deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
