A little about the role…
Procare is seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join an established engineering team in support of our flagship product(s). In collaboration with the software developers, you will be responsible for defining the overall testing strategy for enterprise-level desktop, web, API (both hosted and cloud-based/serverless) and data ETL solutions, and for helping define the tools and processes that will ensure the highest levels of software quality. While manual testing is important, we seek someone who is passionate about test automation and automated regression coverage. You will be the team’s champion for quality and should be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff alike.

What You Will Do
- Drive the effort towards test automation including the selection of appropriate tools and processes
- Create test plans based on technical specifications, user needs, and business requirements
- Develop and maintain a suite of extensible, automated test scripts
- Record and document actual vs. expected results, prioritize defects based on frequency and severity, and track the lifecycle of the defect
- Participate in the release of software and integration solutions, including validation and stakeholder acceptance
- Execute automated performance, load, and usability tests of software and integrations with communication of results back to the team
- Work with the software team to ensure appropriate automated test coverage for optimal product reliability and release velocity
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Design, Product Management, and Engineering
- Present new ideas and respectfully debate those ideas with the team
Requirements
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
- 5+ years of desktop, web, and/or API application test automation
- Core knowledge in Jira and Xray or similar project/issue management tools
- Experience with desktop-focused automated testing tools such as Winium or Ranorex
- CI/CD pipeline integration experience (including cloud-based)
- Programming experience, preferably in .Net languages (C# and/or VB.Net)
- Knowledge of load testing tools and methodologies is a huge plus!
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Agile processes in a structured setting (i.e. Kanban

Salary
$100-120k DOE
Location
This position is based in our Denver office. We are currently in a flexible hybrid in-office/remote working model based on local COVID-19 health regulations and business needs. Candidates must be vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine or have a medical exemption or religious accommodation. Candidates must be willing and able to work from our Denver office a few days a week.
