zingfit is in search of a Senior Java Developer to be part of our compact engineering team in Boulder, CO. Our company builds and markets the leading, scheduling and management company for boutique fitness studios. We’re a fast-growing, dynamic organization looking for tech-savvy talent. We look forward to the Senior Java Developer (minimum 8-years) being an integral part of a small team to extend our suite of online scheduling and studio management tools. The platform is driven by a cloud-native multi-tenant Java/Postgresql back end, serving both public and private APIs for: web and mobile front-end clients, our own studio admin app, a mobile app, and a host of third party integrations (such as performance metrics providers and booking aggregators like ClassPass). Experience with building scalable, stateless, resilient & highly-available applications is a must as is the proclivity to solve client business problems.
DEEP EXPERIENCE REQUIRED IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS
- Java development – 8 years minimum
- Spring Boot
- REST API Design – 2 years minimum
- Postgresql jOOQ (or other SQL-centric DSL)
SOLID KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS
- OAuth2 / Spring Security
- High Transaction / High Availability Systems
- Unit, Integration and Load Testing
WORKING KNOWLEDGE A STRONG PLUS
- Build Automation
