RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with 3rd part vendor during DevOps Assessments and bring in industry standard best practices
  • Architecting and development CI/CD libraries and examples to speed up pipelines development
  • Delivery Pipeline, Infrastructure provisioning, DevOps Toolchain, Configuration management of toolchain
  • Play an active role in CI/CD-related projects and communities
  • Work with other engineers to ensure that the CI/CD service covers all the required needs
  • Identifying requirements, researching options, designing and implementing solutions at a leadership level
  • Work with Product teams for Adoption and Conducting training sessions and presentations
  • Work alongside DevOps Engineer to define the best practices, Foundational components
  • Design, develop and manage automated deployment pipelines for different types of applications
  • Submit code changes with new features and bug fixes and review patches from other members


REQUIREMENTS

  • You are self-motivated and show initiative to research, identify, design, develop, and promote solutions that enhance the modern development environment
  • You have proven experience in managing, implementing and executing large-scale Enterprise DevOps in a Cloud Native environment
  • You demonstrate extensive knowledge in multiple development languages, system design, continuous integration, continuous delivery, software development and best practices, automation and configuration tools, testing, tool integrations, and communication
  • You demonstrate knowledge of container orchestration, cloud solutions and services in a hybrid cloud environment. You are a strong problem solver
  • Primary Skills
    • Good understanding of SDLC
    • Experience applying DevOps Practices
    • Experience in architecting and developing CI/CD solutions at an enterprise level (including CI/CD tools NFR)
    • Hands-on Experience in building CI/CD processes from scratch
    • Hands-on Experience in building GitOps flows
    • Able to work independently
    • Able to drive changes and able to lead small team


NICE TO HAVE

  • Hands on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, ElectricFlow, Artifactory
  • Programming experience with Python, Groovy
  • Knowledge of IaC tools such as Ansible, Terraform
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Argo, Flux
  • Experience building scalable infrastructure software or distributed systems
  • Experience with configuration management tools
  • Knowledge of Azure services
  • Software Security and Compliance expertise (Twistlock, Blackduck, coverity)
