Get hands-on every day and make a difference in the lives of small business owners by assisting them in an area that is technologically challenging.  Commerce Sync automates bookkeeping for small business, saving time and letting them do what they do best – run their business. We work with some of the most exciting and well-known brands in the financial industry, such as Square, Clover, Stripe, Authorize.net, QuickBooks and Xero with customers across North America and Europe.  If you are absolutely customer focused, technically savvy and have excellent communication skills, read on!

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Provide prompt, enthusiastic customer support to existing and prospective customers, through email, phone and chat.
  • Listen to and understand the issues our customers are experiencing. Get to know their story to service them better and be a customer advocate within the company.
  • Take full ownership of customer requests, ensure follow-through and solicit their feedback. Help maintain the strong reputation of Commerce Sync in the market.
  • Customize the Commerce Sync experience for each merchant by assessing customer fit, guiding them with the use of the service, helping them with feature selection and ensuring their expectations are met consistently.
  • Help our customers by contributing and managing our self-help content.
  • Participate in creating and managing your own objectives and goals.

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • You want to dive right in and learn by doing and you are not afraid to ask questions and get answers.
  • You never surrender! You don’t get frustrated by complicated problems, you live for them and you excel at finding creative ways to work around and resolve them.
  • You have an enthusiastic attitude and eagerness to learn about our customers, the products they use, their business and their specific needs.
  • Follow-through is innate for you. There’s no such thing as a customer left hanging, or an issue untracked.
  • You understand the bigger picture. Taking care of the customer is priority #1, and in addition to resolving the day-to-day issues you help the team manage its strategic roadmap and look for ways to help us stay ahead of the future demand.
  • You have 2+ years of customer support experience with direct interaction via email and phone, preferably in a startup environment.
