The mission of the Quality Engineering team at Iterable is to ensure our customers experience with our product is beyond exceptional. In order to accomplish this goal, our team uses a combination of Quality Assurance practices paired with building robust automation testing. In this role you’ll get to:

As a Senior Software Quality Engineer you will be embedded on a development team. You will be responsible to guide the teams Quality Program, build their quality artifacts, and lead the charge to mature and strengthen their automation frameworks. You will build partnerships with many other teams, such as our SRE team to make sure our builds have the right testing coverage. You will also be responsible for reporting on quality metrics and be picking out the right KPIs to determine the health of our product. This position will have reporting into the Senior Manager, Quality Engineering.

We are looking for people who have:

• Create, execute, and manage different testing strategies (e.g. black/white box, integration, feature flag, security, performance, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD, CircleCI, Docker
• Previous experience architecting or leading the effort to build test frameworks to encompass various test levels and enhancing automated coverage with deterministic results
• Experience in building comprehensive integration tests for server side applications/services / RESTful APIs.
• Expertise of a Front End automation framework such as Selenium or Cypress.io
• Ability to code in languages such as: Java or Javascript is preferred.

Bonus points:

• Knowledge of Scala or an eagerness to learn
• Knowledge of ElasticSearch, Kafka, Akka
