What you'll do

The Senior Quality Engineer will join as a senior member of our Agile product engineering team to build, test & deliver features. You will create detailed and well-structured test plans and test
cases, then coordinate testing activities. You will ensure quality issues and defects are appropriate identified, documented, tracked and resolved. You will collaborate with Dev, Product, DevOps and other functions to deliver high-quality products.

• Work with an experienced team leveraging Agile techniques to deliver high-quality releases
• Create test data, test cases and automated scripts to ensure quality for web client & server applications and mobile application
• Perform web, API, UI, functional, regression, smoke, black box, load, performance and end-to-end testing
• Automate tests
• Write and/or modify SQL queries to perform database validations
• Document test cases, write and reproduce accurate software problem reports, and implement process improvements
• Identify, document, and track all software defects to closure
• Work with functional teams in reducing error rates and perform root cause analysis of errors/trends

What you'll bring to the team

• Ability to plan, create and execute test plans and test cases in a fast-paced, product- centric environment - 5 years of relevant experience preferred
• Strong understanding of quality engineering practices, philosophies and techniques
• Proven ability to create and executive SQL queries
• Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally, and work well in a team- oriented environment
• Understanding of relational and non-relational data stores
• Firm understanding of programming languages such as C#, Javascript or similar
• Proven ability to leverage tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, Postman or similar
• Understanding of Agile techniques and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or AHA
• Experience in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), software, or product-centric business preferred
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar (or equivalent experience)
