TeamSnap is seeking a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer to work closely with our Brands and Members product teams throughout the feature development cycle. 


This role will directly report to the Quality Assurance Manager with cross functional stakeholders including Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience. 


What you’ll be doing:

Using your critical thinking skills and clear communication, your ultimate goal will be to act as a Quality Coach advising and strategizing with the team on how to accelerate the achievement of a shippable quality product. This position requires a force for continuous improvement, helping the team adapt and optimize in order to succeed, rather than providing a safety net to catch failures. Continually seeking out things we can do that help improve the team. This includes people, processes, and tools.

What'll set you up for success:

  • 3+ years of relevant QA experience with API, web and/or mobile applications
  • Strong knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of quality assurance testing and the ability to apply this knowledge and skills
  • Experience conceiving and implementing new quality checks to improve the product development lifecycle
  • Experience in a CI/CD environment, releasing up to multiple times a day
  • Ability to mentor/train other team members in best software quality practices
  • A relentless desire to investigate and explore all the nooks and crannies
  • Ability to work as part of a geographically-distributed product development team
  • Passionate about up-front risk analysis vs. verification checks after development
  • Flexibility, sense of humor, and a keenness to jump in without being asked

Bonus Points:

  • Experience or willingness to learn Ghost Inspector or other test automation tools
  • Caring deeply about the customer. The customer is the only quality judge that matters
  • Passionate about sports. Being a parent, coach or participant in recreational sports is even better

Location

TeamSnap is a fully-distributed company, so you must be very comfortable working with people who aren’t in the same physical location as you or each other. While we love all parts of the world, we can only hire permanent US residents at this time.


Compensation

We’re committed to equitable compensation for all TeamSnappers. The salary for this role starts at a minimum of $90,000 plus bonus and benefits. This applies to Colorado-based employees only and may be adjusted based on work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.

We're fully remote, but our HQ is located near Pearl Street in Boulder, Colorado within walking distance of countless coffee shops and restaurants.
