What you’ll do:

As a Salesforce Administrator at Pinnacol, you are going to be a key player in both new project work and in supporting the daily business operations for our customer facing users. You will solve complex problems leveraging your knowledge of systems and processes. You will champion efforts to drive efficiency and process improvement for our systems and our users. You’ll troubleshoot and work with team members to ensure that Salesforce meets their needs and keeps pace with changes in operations, policies and/or procedures. This role has a wide variety of responsibilities, and in this environment you can expect this role to grow and evolve - sometimes on a daily basis.

What you can expect:

  • Overseeing data quality management, profiling, processes, and execution for the entire platform.
  • Administrating the security, control, and access for all users and teams on the platform. 
  • Log and track identified system issues through resolution and providing day-to-day technical support.
  • Assist with configuration and continuous improvement of Salesforce.
  • Work with Pinnacol’s team to assist with managing workflow rules, validation rules, field updates, and validators.
  • Providing report and dashboard training and where needed assisting users with Report/Dashboard design and management.
  • Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements and communicating future changes.
  • Provide guidance and advice to Pinnacol’s operations team regarding use and changes of Salesforce.
  • Develop, document and implement training for Pinnacol team members on processes, policies, application configuration and related materials.
  • Sandbox and release management
  • Additional responsibilities:

    • Communicate and partner effectively with a variety of team members across the Pinnacol team.
    • Monitor and analyze business results and reports, and identify areas for improvement 
    • Adhere to Lean principles involved in process improvement activities/projects.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Excellent communication skills, organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Willingness to jump in and help team members. No task is too big or too small at Pinnacol.
  • Adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness.
  • Willingness to speak up, ask questions, offer feedback and suggestions to fellow team members.
  • Able to prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Be able to work with little direction and are okay with ambiguity as the projects may be changing. 
  • Must be able to communicate in writing and verbally with all levels of individuals both internally and externally. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Have a current Salesforce Administrator certification
  • 3 years experience working as an administrator in a production Salesforce environment
  • Experience with Salesforce DX, including CLI Deployments, Packaging, and Scratch Orgs

If you decide to come into the office, we’re just seven miles from downtown Denver, in the heart of the Lowry neighborhood. Our office is minutes away from a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, fitness facilities and lush parks and open spaces.
