Quality Manager
Job Description:
Principal Accountabilities
● Support Quality contractual review for all new business opportunities globally, identifying quality risks associated with technology, product, process, suppliers, capabilities, etc.
● Build, document, and maintain a standard quality requirements catalogue to support Sales in the early stages of customer quality requirements discovery.
● Evaluate, manage, and answer customer questions related to quality requirements, questionnaires, and surveys.
● Develop Quality solutions for Arrow Sales, Customers, Suppliers, and internal Logistics/Operations by presenting program, performing root cause analysis and correction actions.
● Execute and support interactions between Arrow Sales, Customers, and Suppliers in order to develop and provide solutions as it pertains to Quality. Audits activities and items to report on compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable ISO guidelines and government regulations. Performs analysis and identifies trends using end-to-end order quality data, to include finished products and in-process materials, and recommends corrective action. Audits established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures and reports results. Continuously works within the end-to-end order process to include trend/event specific analysis, root cause analysis, corrective action which is measured by the “Perfect Order Index”.
● When needed (based on level of risk/assignment importance) perform audits, review corrective actions and process improvements.
● Provide input/insight to management that could help them develop quality solutions strategies.
● Responsible for executing strategic direction and assigned goals for POI (Perfect Order Index), which includes E2EOQ and OTD.
● Provide functional support for ISO Certifications.
Experience / Education
● Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
● Prior experience in a manufacturing quality environment required
● Experience dealing with customers
● Strong track record of building customer intimacy through sensitivity and interpersonal skills
