JOB DESCRIPTION
Join the Vertafore team of men and women that solve some of the most complex technical challenges. We are seeking a QA Analyst. As a QA Analyst you will be at the tip of the spear, working with software engineers to develop strategies for testing to ensure product quality for Sagitta using latest technologies and tools as well as framework through active mentoring, technical decision-making, and company-wide collaboration. You will work with Product Management, Software Engineers, and Software Engineers in Test to design the test approach to ensure the product(s) will match specifications and meet or exceed market and customer needs.
The QA Analyst, a member of product and scrum team, will have the responsibility for developing and executing Test Plans and Test Cases. Will perform moderately complex functional, application, regression and performance tests. Must maintain good communications between internal and external customers. Experience working in Agile environment, understanding of .NET technologies, and experience testing in XML, HTTP protocols, ASP.net, Web Services is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications:
We need QA Analysts that:
Demonstrated ability to produce test plans, cases and documentation to stakeholders in development and product management
You work with many groups to support overall product documentation, builds internal knowledge base, and serves as a technical reference
Have an understanding of manual testing methodology
Maintain good relationships with both internal and external customers
We love QA Analysts that:
Clearly communicate and defend their ideas strategies
Have a passion for product quality
Are driven to improve, personally and professionally
Operate best in a fast-paced and flexible work environment
Proactively works with developers to address quality early in the SDLC

Have experience working in an Agile environment
Guide Agile Teams in improving their testing techniques

Have exposure using various testing tools
Have experience with Windows environments
Additional Requirements and Details:
Travel required up to 10% of the time.
Located and working from an office location.
Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).
Frequent sitting and/or standing.
