Why this role
We’re looking for a creative and highly motivated Principal Salesforce Engineer to join our Salesforce Development Team and help us innovate and extend what is possible in Salesforce. This position is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in the travel industry and have an immediate and meaningful impact at one of its fastest-growing companies. In this role you will help plan and execute special projects while supporting ongoing cross-team operations. You will work closely with our Product Team and other cross-functional development teams to design and implement world class solutions on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate for this role is technically savvy, analytical, and process-oriented. They must anticipate and embrace the challenge of solving critical business problems in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter, willing to perform a variety of responsibilities and would be comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
What you’ll do
- Participate in and drive deep architectural discussions during discovery, design and implementation stages of projects with delivery teams and business stakeholders.
- Leverage your expert knowledge to collaborate with and support other architects working on the Salesforce platform with Data Architecture, Integration Architecture, Security Architecture, Business Architecture and Business Process alignment.
- Lead domain specific projects with autonomy and decision making authority to advance Evolve’s medium and long term technology goals.
- Lead development of policies and best practices for Evolve in the Salesforce technology space.
- Translate business requirements into an executable solution that fits the platform roadmap and architecture captured in easy to understand technical designs.
- Collaborate to inform leadership in the areas of Salesforce technology, business and financial decision making.
- Design performant, scalable and sustainable solutions alongside our technical leaders while leveraging the latest innovations.
- Review more detailed technical designs with other platform architects to communicate impacts to existing integrations or the creation of new integration patterns.
- Recommend and document Salesforce architecture and development best practices.
- Work closely with a team of product owners, admins, and developers to realize technical solutions.
- Create functioning proof of concepts for future looking implementations.
What makes you a great fit
- 8+ years of experience architecting, building, and administering complex architectures and technologies involved Salesforce technologies.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (required).
- Salesforce Developer Certification preferred.
- Salesforce Application Architect OR Salesforce System Architect OR Salesforce Certified Technical Architect Certification preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in architecting, designing and implementing technical solutions in a highly integrated, enterprise scale, multi-technology environment.
- Expertise working in an Agile Scrum environment while driving continuous improvement of team maturity.
- Demonstrated experience integrating with 3rd Party tools, APIs, and other web services.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to learn quickly and think creatively.
Location
We currently are able to hire throughout the U.S except in the following states: District of Columbia, Hawaii, and Pennsylvania. If you live in Colorado, you can work remotely anywhere in the state, at our downtown Denver office, or a hybrid of both!

Compensation
For this role our salary range is $157,000 - $181,000, depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.
Additional compensation details:
Equity: 75% of salary equivalent RSUs
Variable comp: 15% of salary target
