Position Summary

• The Software Engineer I contributes to business critical applications used by both end customers and internal employees. He/she learns coding techniques/standards and applies them to their work. The Engineer focuses on learning one piece of the application architecture at time. He/she takes a well-defined task and sees it through to completion. 

Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

• Learns coding techniques/standards and applies them to their work; prepares detailed plans
• Develops and codes new application features
• Debugs, tests, and troubleshoots application throughout the development process

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

• Up to three (3) years’ relevant software development experience
• Moderate experience with Java, Python, C++, etc.. 
• Team player attitude
• Working knowledge of SQL
• In-depth understanding of HTML5, CSC3 and CMSs
• You take peer feedback graciously and apply to current and future work.

Required Education & Certifications:

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience
• Coding Boot camp preferred
