Better requires process, discipline, and simplification

We’ll task you with working closely with cloud and network engineers, developers and technical operations staff while performing cyber security risk assessment of existing and new business technologies and tools. You’ll improve security operations and risk management processes of critical Western Union systems. You will be responsible to perform end to end Information Security Risk assessments independently with limited guidance and evaluating security controls as per well-known Industry-standard and framework such as ISO 27001, NIST, CSF etc. With knowledge of Vulnerability Assessment of Web applications, Mobile Applications, Network, and Infrastructure assessments, you will help teams with devising Remediation plan by prioritizing the findings based on a Risk-based approach. You’ll serve as a technical expert for enterprise security operations, managing, reviewing, and building key management systems and assisting with strategic initiatives around future security infrastructure and tools.

 

You’ll need at least 5 years of combined experience in IT/Network Engineering and/or application development, and in Information Security. You have knowledge of network and system security vulnerabilities and exploits. You have experience with various security controls and are familiar with regulatory encryption requirements and industry certifications.  You have knowledge of a broad range of risk assessment / management concepts, including Auditing Methodologies and Approaches, Information Security Policies, Standards and Procedures, PCI Standards, ISO 2700x Standards, NIST Risk Framework, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance mandate.

Annual base salary: $93,385.00 – 164,500.00. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
