Full Stack Developer

As the newest member of our development team, you will be designing, maintaining, and improving our platform.  Your comprehensive knowledge of platform development throughout the stack combined with business savvy and experience as an inspirational leader will be key to our future success. How you’ll spend your days:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining the current web application utilizing PHP7, MySQL, React, Redux and Bootstrap 3
• Designing, developing, and maintaining the current iOS/Native application utilizing React Native & Expo
• Building and Deploying through Webpack, GitLab CI/CD, & AWS CodeDeploy
• Using AWS Services such as CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, EC2, ALB, ElastiCache, RDS Aurora, Redshift, Fargate,
• SQS & Lambda to deliver products and services to our users
• Working with 3rd party APIs like payment gateways, internal CRMs & QuickBooks
• Contributing to the digital and operations strategy by offering technical expertise and building integrations between back-end systems to support internal teams
• Providing cross-functional technical support and mentorship on trends and industry standards
• Collaborating with Product Manager to define the product roadmap and create an executable pipeline for the delivery of features and enhancements
• Making sure that your team members can follow in your footsteps by documenting your work
• Stretching yourself intellectually – challenging conventional thinking with your positive and curious mind
• Working in a growth-stage startup, pitching in wherever you can 

What you’ll bring with you:

• 5 years of professional experience building software at the enterprise level and at least 3 years of full stack development experience using PHP with MVC frameworks
• Deep expertise with programming languages and libraries – ReactJS, React Native, MySQL, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap v3
• Knowledge of native, mobile app languages such as Objective-C, Swift, and Java
• Experience building web apps that work directly with RESTful API’s
• An understanding of security principles and how they apply to web and mobile payment applications
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas and issues to stakeholders and executive management
