Brandfolder is looking for an Engineering Manager with a passion for technical details and empathy-driven leadership to grow our engineering organization and platform in the Digital Asset Management space. You will enable and inspire a team of engineers and will lead projects impacting global organizations such as TripAdvisor, Slack, and GettyImages clients. Our business is built on the way we empower our incredible team, challenge them to grow, and have them drive meaningful contributions to our award-winning Software as a Service (SaaS) offering. As an Engineering Manager you will communicate proactively and effectively across the team and company. Our team focuses on distributed decision-making that rewards ownership, transparency, and collaboration.

We face the challenges ahead of us as a team and work collaboratively to solve them; see how we do this on our blog at https://brandfolder.engineering. Base salary range for this role to be between $132,480 and $162,840 In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive annual bonus and RSU stock grant upon accepted offer.

You will report to the Head of Engineering located in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage a cross-functional squad of experienced engineers

  • Guide and mentor team members regarding architecture and best practices

  • Influence technical direction of the team

  • Manage the team as a small startup in a bigger ecosystem

  • Forge strong partnerships with product management and other key areas of the business

  • Ensure projects have appropriate reliability and maintainability

  • Ensure deployments and features are properly monitored throughout their lifecycle

  • Enable team members to work effectively and help align work across product and engineering stakeholders

  • Actively participate in hiring and the growth of our team

Qualifications

Requirements

  • 7+ years preferred software development experience

  • 3+ years previous management experience

  • Project ownership experience which you can channel to help team members grow

  • Experience building teams including recruiting and retention

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies

  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis
