  • Job Description

    Come join our Identity & Access Management team to build our next-generation platform services to help drive enterprise level single sign-on adoption. We expect you to have a proven knowledge of software engineering fundamentals and an appetite for continuous learning and teamwork.     A day in the life… 

    • Experience taking a role in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers 

    • Work independently while demonstrating a bias for action and flexibility to evolving business needs 

    • Demonstrate an ability to turn business needs into functional requirements and participate in defining, scoping and estimating resulting stories 

    • Maintain a high bar for code quality, testing and automation while finding opportunities to continuously improve them 

    • Contribute to design and code reviews, ensuring the team ships high quality, scalable, maintainable and well-tested code 

    • Maintain a DevOps mindset, promoting cloud-oriented solutions while implementing and supporting monitoring / telemetry, alerting, CI/CD pipelines as well as the team’s Cloud infrastructure 

    • Interest in contributing to on-call rotation, capacity to debug time-sensitive production issues 

     

    You own this if you have… 

    • 3+ years of high-quality professional experience in delivering software, ideally across the full stack 

    • Experience working with Node.js / Java / Spring Boot / React 

    • Ability to demonstrate deep understanding of technology choices and present to others 

    • Demonstrated ability to mentor other software developers to maintain architectural vision and software quality 

    • Working knowledge of CI/CD is a plus. 

    • Experience with public cloud infrastructure (AWS) including serverless architecture / Lambda / DynamoDB 

    • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker preferred, including building containerized applications 

    • Experience in Okta Workforce Identity tools of SSO, Universal Directory, Adaptive MFA, API Access Management 

    • Experience with any Cloud Identity Authentication and Access Management and intimately familiar with IAM related protocols such as SAML, OIDC, OAuth and SCIM 

    • Bachelors in an engineering discipline, preferably computer science preferred
