Parsyl is an early-stage, venture-backed technology platform that was founded with the mission to improve health and save money by providing a better way to ensure the integrity of sensitive goods as they are shipped around the globe. We do this by combining proprietary sensing devices with powerful predictive data analytics to offer an unprecedented view of quality assurance and risk dynamics.

If you get excited about being a team player and thinking about joining a company whose technology will help answer questions like: “Should I give this vaccine to a child?” and “Is this seafood safe to eat?”- we’re looking for you.

Where you fit in:

As an early member of a fast growing startup, you will work across teams including engineering, product, and manufacturing to build and maintain our family of embedded products. You will interface with a broad range of stakeholders and engineering disciplines to ensure we have efficient and reliable embedded solutions to meet our company priorities and customer user cases.

You are a good fit for this position if you are a highly effective and flexible electrical engineer who is motivated by solving challenging technical problems in collaboration across our platform and understanding the needs of the customer. You are eager to learn and enjoy building streamlined user experiences with continually emerging technologies.

  • Point technical contact to all vendors and partners as relates to technology enablement and development

Qualifications:

  • Experience designing low cost (cents count), low power (fractions of microamps count), small form factor electronics
  • Experience with RF/antenna design, especially 2.4GHz and Bluetooth
  • Experience with design for extreme environments (very cold, humid, wet, etc)
  • Experience with a range of battery technology and evaluation a huge plus
  • Experience with high speed PCB design and communication buses
  • Experience with IoT hardware development and operations

Qualities We Look For:
