Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities and/or a proven record of success in Information Technology leading practices in the following areas, but not limited to:

  • Defines, designs, and delivers comprehensive architecture solutions that align with business objectives;
  • Leads a high-performing team of architects and delivery specialists in the energy and utilities systems and sector;
  • Conducts advancements in AI and Machine Learning technologies, recommending innovative solutions for continuous improvement ensuring alignment with organizational goals;
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional and solution architectures;
  • Leads cross-functional teams in the creation and execution of proof-of-concept projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and market demands;
  • Develops and maintain a technology roadmap that aligns with business goals and industry best practices;
  • Oversees the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions, ensuring they meet quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines; and,
  • Provide strategic guidance on emerging technologies and energy and utility industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to drive efficiency and sustainability.


Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities and a proven record of success directing efforts in identifying and addressing client needs, including:

  • Develops compelling and data-driven business cases to articulate the strategic value and return on investment of implementing new technology solutions;
  • Formulates and executes go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends to drive successful product launches and market penetration;
  • Builds, maintains, and utilizes networks of client relationships and community involvement;
  • Exemplifies exceptional communication skills, tailoring complex information into clear, concise messages for effective presentation to C-suite leadership, fostering strategic alignment and informed decision-making;
  • Manages resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections;
  • Prepares and/or coordinates complex written and verbal materials; and,
  • Builds and manages new and existing client relationships, resulting in net new and add-on sales.


Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities and a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:

  • Supervises teams to create an atmosphere of trust;
  • Seeks diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and,
  • Coaches staff by providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
