Digital Marketing Specialist

Summary:
MediaNews Group is seeking a Customer Data Platform Specialist to join our team! This is a full time remote opportunity.
What you will do:

• Building data collection and activation programs in BlueConic; Creation of multiple data points; Copying different tools and mechanisms for activating use cases
• Setting up tracking tools to analyzing performance
• Creating and analyzing A/B tests to increase key metrics like click-through rates
• Creating QA processes to ensure BlueConic use cases are performing
• Work with various markets to discuss BlueConic use cases across digital channels and various user lifecycle stages
• Actively participate in the testing and integration of updates and upgrades of our BlueConic use cases, as needed to optimize performance
• Perform tasks needed in BlueConic to support the activation and analysis of high value use cases
• Provide support for anti-fraud tactics and monitoring on the checkout
• Report on results of use cases and communicate to appropriate stakeholders; assist with updating reporting for ongoing use case analysis
• Perform ad hoc analytics projects to further the growth of the ecommerce business

What you will bring:

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
• Experience planning and coordinating marketing communication campaigns via email and website
• Familiarity with web analytics and the ability to extract insights from data
• Understanding of the subscriber stages and the drivers of retention
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Self-motivated and curious
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 1-2 years experience in marketing, or customer experience leadership roles required
• Technical thinker; understands code structure and types (do no need to know how to write code); sees how pieces of technology fit together and can modify for optimal efficiency

The annual salary range is $90,000 - $100,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. This role is eligible for a bonus based on performance. In addition to your salary, MediaNews Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
