The Role

As a product designer, you will be working on our corporate housing (Travelers Haven) and hotel (Hotel Engine) product experiences. You will use your skills in product design, interaction design, and visual design to create hi-fi UI solutions to pitch to our product, engineering and operations teams. Our design department is small so joining will allow you to make an strong impact on the future of our products.

What you will do

• Take a complex design problem and deliver simple and elegant UI solutions.
• Develop cross-platform web, mobile, and app wireframes and polished mockups.
• Help streamline and mature UI components, design patterns, and visual styles.
• Work and communicate with in-office and remote team members.

A person that would succeed in this role

• Mastery of Sketch and similar design tools.
• Cares deeply about pixel perfection while also knowing when to ship.
• Strong experience prototyping in Invision.
• Strong ability to design for a multitude of platforms (web, iOS, Android, etc)
• Eager to learn and curious to try new things.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Enjoys collaborating with various teams and individuals.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other frontend technologies.
