An Insider's view of Crafted

What are some social events your company does?

We have lots of social events, ranging from small stuff after work to bigger company trips. Our last trip took us to Cabo, which was absolutely phenomenal – nothing helps you get to know your coworkers quite like a weekend of ocean, sunshine, and amazing food! More often we’ll do smaller hangouts such as drinks, sports events, or even ax throwing.

UI/UX Product Designer

What's the biggest problem your team is solving?

The biggest problem my team is solving is delivering a quality product while developing new features and addressing tech debt. We constantly evaluate priorities and provide solutions that satisfy stakeholders and, at the same time, allow software engineers to build a solid foundation for future features and scaling up the product.

How does the company support your career growth?

Crafted takes the time to learn and understand the needs and wants of each employee and introduces the employee to opportunities for growth that aligns with their goals. Crafted provides a support system that is open and honest with feedback to guide the employee in their journey.

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

Secondly, through work-life balance for creativity in and out of the office. That 14er you climbed, the game you coded over the weekend, or the painting class you took. And third, via team bonding through creative activities. We party in Cabo together.

Ryan Trunck

CTO

What makes someone successful on your team?

As a team, we have started to align on the Humble, Hungry, and "People" Smart concept from the book, “The Ideal Team Player” by Patrick Lencioni. We feel that if you embody these values and live them day-to-day that you will be making yourself, your teams, and our clients better!
