The Prism App Division of BillGO is looking for a motivated B2C Mobile UI/UX Designer with a passion building new products while having fun doing it! A key ingredient is building relationships and working with others to the align customer needs to a short- and long-term product vision. The B2C Mobile UI/UX Designer is a distinctive position that will re-imagine design vs just making it 'look better'. Key factors for this position are cross-functional collaboration, meeting tight timelines, passion for communicating technical concepts, and a consumer/user centric perspective. The ideal candidate will have experienced working in a fast-paced environment.
Our preference is that already local to Fort Collins, CO or Redmond, WA (or are willing to relocate). However, for the right person, working remotely is possible!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform requirements gathering and analysis from user community
- Create mockups and prototypes to provide an accurate, graphical user interface representation, thereby facilitating AB testing
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
- Build user interfaces that are not just visually pleasing but efficient and delightful for users
- Collaborate with developers, product team and marketing to ensure adherence to business requirements and UI/UX design specifications
- Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary products and experiences
- Embrace an agile and iterative approach to projects
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- High degree of knowledge with visual and user-centered design principles
- Experience in designing iOS and Android app experiences from start to finish with familiarity of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design
- Confidence with your User Interface Design Experience
- Experience with grids, wireframing, prototyping and testing
- Ability to communicate design concepts through sketches and wireframes
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and business concepts to technical audiences
- Ability to facilitate groups in the application of creative, design, and systems thinking
- An understanding of current industry techniques for requirements elicitation, analysis, and specification
- Experience delivering on a frequent Agile cadence
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Possess knowledge in software development tools, practices, and lifecycle methodologies
- Must love working in fast paced, rapidly changing environment
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- B.A. Degree - Design/Graphic Design or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3+ years of UX/UI design experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- UI/UX design experience for iOS, Android, responsive web
- Expertise building outstanding user experiences in B2C applications
DESIRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies
- FinTech experience preferred
