This individual will report directly to the Director, Learning & Growth, located in the Denver office.
Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with subject matter experts, stakeholders and other internal customers to plan, design and develop multi-platform training solutions using strong instructional design methodology, applying adult and cognitive learning theory, and forming competency-based evaluations to ensure training solutions are effective and aligned with business and compliance requirements.
- Conduct analysis to determine learning and performance objectives and scalable instructional strategies and solutions.
- Apply advanced knowledge of eLearning production to develop highly engaging and interactive eLearning courses for computer and mobile platforms.
- Manage web-based, eLearning and classroom course development projects through all phases.
- Support/Facilitate train-the-trainer experiences as necessary.
- Monitor, amend and revise training content and materials as necessary in coordination with subject matter experts.
- Serve as subject matter expert in development trends, training tools, and learning platforms while continuously exploring new and innovative approaches to the design, development and delivery of learning solutions.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of varied, progressive instructional design experience focused on instructor-led, self-paced, digital and blended learning.
- Demonstrated expertise in effective Instructional Systems Design methodologies.
- Experience with graphic design, video, microlearning, responsive design, gamification, simulations, and animation/motion graphics preferred.
- Background in LMS administration preferred.
- Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- High-level attention to detail and accuracy in your execution of work and tasks.
- Proven ability to work under minimal supervision, with minimal formal processes/structures, follow general guidance, set priorities and make sound decisions.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline preferred.
- Ability to travel as required.
