Graphic Design - ASPENCORE Studio

Job Description:

We are seeking a graphic designer with a passion for design & presentations. The ideal candidate will be capable of both working within established design guidelines as part of a collaborative team and designing every facet of a campaign from scratch by themselves. Graphic designer will need to be able to present their work to internal & external clients and collaborate closely with internal Product, Development, and Marketing teams to see their vision through to completion. They will be responsible for implementing both new and existing brand guidelines for websites, PowerPoint Presentations, eblasts, infographics, and banners. 

 

What you will be Doing -

  • Design information architecture, user flows, interfaces, and visual systems that tell compelling stories across AspenCore’s digital properties
  • Create simple, clean, and elegant creative assets and interfaces
  • Design marketing collateral for use on multiple digital platforms
  • Partner with engineering and development teams to implement designs and perform QA
  • Give and receive design feedback
  • Maintain the integrity of brand and design standards throughout all AspenCore’s digital properties
  • Work effectively with internal & external stakeholders to develop mock ups and manage iterations
  • Identify, recommend, and implement the latest web technologies, tools, and services
  • Create wireframes for internal and client review
  • Create design comps for websites, mobile, email, and digital marketing needs
  • Create UI/UX designs for small and large-scale websites

 

 

What you should know -

  • Strong portfolio of responsive web design work that shows an attention to detail, typography, color, and composition
  • 3+ years of experience in web design, in an agency environment or as part of an in-house team
  • Strong PowerPoint skills a must
  • Experience with infographics highly desired
  • B.A. or B.S. in Graphic Design, Web Design, HCI, Art, or a related field.
  • Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite CC, Sketch, or equivalent industry tools
  • Knowledge of CSS, HTML
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills – must be able to present design solutions to internal clients and communicate both effectively and persuasively
  • Strong ability to handle multiple projects at one time
  • Knowledge of responsive/mobile web design conventions, user experience, web standards, optimization and best practices

 

 

Bonus is you have -

  • Knowledge of open source CMS such as Drupal or WordPress
  • Experience with digital advertising design and deployment (HTML5 high impact banners)
  • Experience designing and coding HTML emails

Our offices are approximately 15 miles south of Downtown Denver. Employees enjoy the easy access to the light rail station and I-25.
