Senior Sales Compensation Analyst
Summary
The Senior Sales Compensation Analyst will play a vital role in developing and deploying sales compensation strategies to accelerate Workiva’s growth. This person will collaborate with sales and operations leadership, total rewards, finance, accounting and IT to develop and manage sales compensation across our global organization, and will play an integral role in the implementation and administration of Varicent Sales Incentive Compensation Management at Workiva.
The successful candidate in this role should have demonstrated leadership experience, strong technical skills, enjoy analytical work and problem-solving in a dynamic environment, with the ability to influence key stakeholders. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively collaborate across different functional teams in a fast-growing and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Support Workiva’s sales performance management initiatives, including incentive compensation programs.
- Lead the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of our Varicent sales Incentive Compensation Management solution.
- Conduct sophisticated analysis of data from multiple sources to build various compensation models, and develop recommendations for improving sales performance.
- Design reports and tools to use in compensation-related analytics and dashboards.
- Develop and present updates and recommendations for the executive compensation committee.
- Participate in the semi-annual planning, design, creation and issuance of compensation plans.
- Handle employee or stakeholder queries/issues and escalate them where appropriate.
What You'll Need
Education
- Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
Experience
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in compensation analysis and administration
- Experience with Varicent, Callidus, Xactly or other Sales Performance Management / Incentive Compensation Management platforms preferred
- Finance or Accounting experience preferred

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and outstanding attention to detail

- Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative in a quickly growing and global environment
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced, global environment, including an ability to multi-task and juggle multiple tasks both big and small.
- Ability to be solution-oriented and help solve problems, make complex / manual processes more effective and automated and deliver creative solution to issues
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
Working Conditions
- Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office
How You'll Be Rewarded
- Base Pay Range in Colorado: $101,000 - $139,000
- A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
- Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
