Middleware Engineer w/ Oracle EBS
Job Description:
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, develop and manage the implementation of technology solutions that meet the needs of internal and external customers.
- Manage implementation and support of Oracle E-Business suite modules to improve business processes.
- Integrate and support additional Oracle EBS modules or functionality as needed.
- Implement and support non-Oracle solutions (both on-premise and cloud) and their integration with Oracle EBS.
- Independently manage IT related projects.
- Analyze solution design and create Functional/technical specifications based on business/functional requirements.
- Development activities including analysis, design, coding, data migration and testing for production and development environments.
- Customize and develop Interfaces, Reports and Extensions as needed to support business requirements.
- Design and Development of applications built with the Oracle Fusion Middle-ware/J2EE/Web applications and Oracle EBS R12 RICEW(Reports, Integrations, Customization, Extensions and Workflow) components.
- Participate in system-level tests responsible for comparing actual results with expected results.
- Maintenance and Provide support for the existing systems as needed.
- Responsible for delivering quality technical specification documentation for internal and/or external programmers who can develop new or enhanced solutions and reports based on these requirements.
- Responsible for proper testing of new or enhanced software solutions and reports, in preparation of delivery to the Business stakeholders for user acceptance testing.
- Driving projects of the supported services to successful completion and implementation. Works with business to assist in new projects and implementations. Executing actions so that the supported services meet the required service levels to support business strategy.
- Provide expertise to review existing processes and recommend improvements based upon "best practices" and R12 functionality
- Work with SMEs to define and document project scope and specifications
- Design and implement solutions to meet project requirements, work with off-shore technical resources as required
