POSITION SUMMARY:

 

We are looking for an experienced and motivated supply chain professional that has a background in supply chain and life sciences to join our team. This position will be responsible for the overall management of our enzyme inventory, including planning, executing, monitoring and troubleshooting. Another major component of this position will be supplier relationship management by representing ArcherDX as the main point of contact. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Manages demand forecast, inventories on hand and lead times.
  • Collaborates with personnel in Logistics, Production, Quality, and Research by assisting with planning volume sizes, quantities and when to order.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Maintains ERP with lead times and minimum stock quantity.
  • Organizes drop shipments and other delivery methods as needed.
  • Monitor open purchase orders, provide status updates and track supplier performance KPI’s.
  • Serve as main point of contact with the vendor(s) and participate in supplier meetings as needed.
  • Assist with material troubleshooting between internal teams and the vendor.
  • Interacts with vendors to obtain material information, return nonconforming products, and support product manufacture and release
  • Review, understanding, and compliance with ArcherDX HIPPA security policies and procedures.
  • Safeguarding the privacy and security of protected health information and European Union personal data.
  • Processing and handling of European Union personal data only as directed by ArcherDX for purposes of personalized molecular pathology.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Five or more years of experience in supply chain, inventory control and management; preferably in managing liquid reagents for the medical device, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP)/materials resource planning (MRP) software
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail

EDUCTATION:

  • Bachelors in a life sciences field

 

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

  • Experience working in regulated environments (ISO, FDA)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn technical information provided in trainings
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and work effectively in a team environment
