Position Overview:
Brilliant Earth is hiring a BI Analyst and Senior BI Analyst to join our team. As a member of this team, you will play an integral role in identifying and delivering insights that drive and scale our fast-growing company. As the team’s BI Analyst, you will translate collected data into business decisions by assisting in the analysis, automation, visualization, modeling and reporting of data. Collaborating across the organization at all levels, you will use your analytical skills to help guide partners to make strategic business decisions and improve performance

What you’ll do:
- Partner with business stakeholders to design reports, visualizations, and dashboards to support strategic decision making
- Assist in back-end data maintenance and schema creation/organization
- Optimize and standardize reporting through automation using ETL tools in Domo
- Investigate and implement ways to streamline current reports and make outputs simple yet insightful
- Ensure best practices are utilized in defining business processes, reporting standards, naming conventions, and adhering to data architectural guidelines
You’re a great candidate if you have:
- 2-3 years’ experience with Domo (including connectors, ETL, card and page building)
- Senior Analyst: 5+ years' overall experience
- Experience using an array of business data, including Finance, Merchandising (Product, Margin, Inventory), Marketing, Operations and Sales data
- Experience building advanced reports and models in Excel
- Advanced knowledge of SQL
- Data governance and PDP experience
- High level of business acumen and understanding of operational KPIs
- Ability to distill and concisely communicate key business insights from complex analyses
- Experience in a physical product, retail company preferred (eCommerce preferred)
- Highly organized with a focus on execution, problem solving and improving processes
- Exceptional time management skills and accountability
- Effective verbal and written communication skills whether sharing results and insights or documenting assumptions and methodologies
- Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a flexible environment
- Attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred
The targeted budget for this position is $80-100k. This compensation budget range may be adjusted at any time at the discretion of the company.
