IT Support Specialist
Wowza Media Systems and The Business Operations Team is currently seeking a Helpdesk/Desktop Support Specialist to provide support for desktop applications and workstations as well as administrate company business applications. This position will report to the IT department lead and will be based in Golden, Colorado. Working remotely is currently available, but some time in the office may be required in the future.
The person in this role will be responsible for the following:
Monitoring and reacting to Helpdesk tickets submitted by employees worldwide
Account administration of business applications
Purchasing and configuring of employee equipment
Writing knowledge articles to help employee’s “self serve”, as well as to providing a knowledge base for the Business Technology team
Growing with our team, helping find long term solutions to problems our users face by evaluating and recommending new technologies and services for company use
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate you can successfully manage multiple projects at once. You must have excellent inter-personal skills, both verbal and written and be able to work well with a geographically distributed team.
Qualifications:
3 years experience Macintosh desktop support or equivalent
Experience configuring and troubleshooting cloud-based applications
Intermediate experience with Jamf Pro / Cloud, DEP, No-contact Start-up
Experience administrating MS Exchange / Office 365 – new account setup and configuration, distribution groups, etc. (PowerShell experience a plus)
Able to setup, install, and configure basic Windows and OSX applications
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent self task management skills
Excellent Customer Service skills
Experience with pkgbuild, and shell scripting a plus
