The Opportunity:
Gloo is growing, and we need to add to our IT team to keep up. In this brand-new role, you will be our Mac expert for new and existing employees. You are early in your career and possibly working as an Apple Genius, but you are ready to flex those tech muscles in a fast-paced, growing SaaS company. You thrive on the intensity of handling multiple competing priorities while working with a team that is passionate about the latest technology. What You'll Be Doing:
- Serving as the first point of contact for internal users for all things IT related – we are an Apple shop
- Assisting in the administration of office communication tools such as G Suite, Slack, Zoom to name a few
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with the Gloo community by providing support via Zendesk, Slack and face to face
- Leading the IT onboarding charge by providing computers, accounts, and IT orientation training – you know your stuff and love to share
- Organizing and maintaining our IT assets – computers, monitors, peripherals – you keep us stocked and ready for the future
- Jumping in to help wherever you can to help us stay on top of our growth
What We're Looking For:
- BS/BA in an IT related discipline preferred
- Experience as an Apple Genius or as a member of a support team within a Mac-based technology company
- Apple Mac Support Certification a big plus; Jamf level 100 or 200 Certification earns you bonus points
- Excellent detail orientation and communication skills; able to explain tech to non-tech people
- A sharp mind capable of handling multiple, sometimes competing, priorities without breaking a sweat
- Creative, proactive problem solving and logical thinking – you are naturally resourceful and just able to figure stuff out
