Under the direction of the CHRO, the Workplace Services Director oversees and manages facility operations for multiple Vertafore locations. The key focus is providing a great workplace experience for all users by maintaining the day-to-day workplace services and management of activities that ensure the smooth operation of our corporate offices.

Overview of Duties
• Manages assigned projects and facilities operations for all Vertafore office locations
• Creates, plans, and manages an annual total facilities budget
• Prepares Request for Proposals (RFPs) for facility improvements, repair and construction services as applicable
• Develops space plans and recommends equipment and materials as needed
• Develops project estimates and obtains proposals from third party vendors
• Reviews and analyzes bid results and makes recommendations
• Implements project timelines for all deliverables within areas of responsibility
• Reviews, manages, and (if applicable) communicates changes to projects as applicable, including impacts to project costs and schedule.
• Upon completion of projects, ensures all documentation is completed correctly and provided to appropriate departments as needed
• Provides timely updates to Executive Leadership Team
• Researches and understands business unit and corporate needs and issues as it relates to projects and general facilities operations
• Develops and maintains strong partnership with internal and external partners to build and maintain positive working relationships, to ensure smooth communication and rapid execution of facilities related requests
• Provides feedback, suggestions and guidance to best meet corporate goals
• Performs other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
• Directly supervises facilities staff including Workplace Services Specialists and administrative personnel at both local and remote locations
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Skills & Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering or related field; or combination of education and experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in a project management capacity including large scale corporate projects required
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and demonstrated experience working in a team-based work environment
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and respond to changes as they occur
• Skill in negotiating contracts and agreements
• Skill in utilizing and evaluating technical drawings, schematics, surveys and blue prints
• Ability to write clearly and concisely
• Ability to read, interpret and create documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to apply the concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• Ability to solve practical problems and provide solutions when only limited information exists
• Familiarity and proficiency with using the Internet as a research tool
• Proficiency in computer utilization such as Email and Office software such as Word, Excel, and Project
