Technical Account Manager

Magnite’s Technical Account Managers (“TAMs”) are key members of Magnite’s Technical Operations group. TAMs to help onboard and maintain various integrations with Magnite’s partners related to supply, demand and data. Integrations vary in complexity from simple automated reporting systems to complex server-to-server and client-to-server interfaces. Magnite partners include DSPs, DMPs, Publishers, Advertisers and Agencies.
Technical Account Managers are primary contact points with partners for all things technical. Technical Account Managers must also possess acute business acumen to properly present Magnite’s perspective, positions, and requirements to customers in ways that protect Magnite’s interests and business goals, while respectfully and carefully understanding the business needs and goals of our customers. The TAMs work closely with classic account management, to on-board and sustain our publishers in high touch technical integrations.
As Technical Account Manager - Publishers, You Will:
Provide expert guidance to publishers on Magnite platforms and advise on the best technical solutions, to partners and customers
Collaborate to improve and build Magnite’s external documentation and collateral materials set, including API specs, FAQ, and partner procedure guides.
Lead review of partner documentation
Build relationships with technical and business contacts on supply side while establishing yourself as a trusted advisor on all aspects of the video ecosystem
Debug and diagnose day-to-day publisher issues
Partner with engineering on the feasibility of various integration structures and advocate for our partner’s positions when appropriate
Develop, maintain and report on integration plans and progress
Collaborate with account management and engineering teams of our Partners and our internal engineering, operations, business development and account management teams to deploy integrations
Test and troubleshoot new and existing integrations
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
3+ years of experience working on publisher integrations and troubleshooting, directly communicating with customers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of Ad Serving Ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, Exchanges, Networks, ad servers, etc.)
Experience with CTV environments (vMVPDs, OTT, Addressable TV, etc.)
Knowledge of Video Ad Serving Protocols (VAST, VPAID, OpenRTB)
The ability to convey complex technical requirements and ideas to both technical and commercially focused people internally and externally
Experience in diagnosing and working through issues with third-party technology vendors including DSPs, DMPs, and ad servers
A curiosity and aptitude for working within new technologies and partnering with publishers to drive solutions to fit partner’s business needs
Understanding of user identification mechanisms and processes (match table approaches, cookies, IFA, etc.)
Knowledge and experience working with complex advertising reporting, analysis systems and tools
Comfortable with XML, JavaScript, and JSON
Additional Preferred Skills:
Ability to write SQL queries for reporting and troubleshooting

The base compensation range for this role in Colorado, depending on level: $70,000 - $110,000. Total compensation for this role includes a variable component in addition to base compensation and equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
