Regulatory Support Associate
Summary:
Our Servicing, Collections, and Recovery team is seeking a fast learning & hard working Regulatory Support Associate. Specifically, we are looking for a self-starter with a focus on strong customer service skills and data privacy knowledge. You will be joining a rapidly growing team and you will have an unmatched opportunity to build your career.
Birds-eye view of the role:
- Respond to client requests related to data privacy in a timely manner
- Daily monitoring of client inquiries related to data privacy
- Properly route, prioritize, and respond to escalated requests as they are received
- Work closely with the legal, compliance, and sales departments to adapt policy in a changing regulatory environment
- Manage the back-end process of collecting data related to information deletion and notification of client data
- Work closely with external servicing vendor on data information requests
- Daily, weekly, monthly reporting as needed
- Ad hoc projects as needed
Our ideal teammate has:
- 3-5 years prior customer service experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Very strong organizational and time management skills
- Very strong attention to detail
- Persistent desire to learn
- Positive outlook and demeanor
- Ability to adapt to a changing role as regulation changes
Bonus Points for:
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Jira and Tableau
- Work experience in a financial and/or financial customer service capacity
- Knowledge of FDCPA, UCC filings and understanding of commercial collections
