As a SAFe Content Advisor and member of one of our cross-functional product development teams, you’ll be sharing your knowledge and experience of a better way of working in the enterprise. You will contribute as a content developer and subject matter expert to assist in developing new learning assets and tools and updating in-market products. You will work daily with a broad team of cross functional domain experts and members of the SAFe community to develop the products that enable enterprises to transition to SAFe, and achieve business agility, whilst helping SAFe Professionals grow in their roles and practice SAFe day-to-day. 

As part of your responsibilities, you will work with customers to test new ideas and potential assets in the field, which could include teaching new and existing SAFe courses. This ensures your SAFe knowledge and experience remains informed by the experiences of our customers and allows you to feedback your insights so we can continually improve our products and services. 

Scaled Agile is the provider of the Scaled Agile Framework. You will collaborate with thought leaders and be part of the evolution of SAFe.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Using your deep knowledge of SAFe and your experience implementing the framework to contribute to the development of courseware, toolkits, videos, e-learning assets, and other content, to solve problems inside SAFe Enterprise customer context
  • Ensuring consistency with SAFe principles and practices throughout all assets and testing assets and courses in the field with customers.
  • Demonstrating superior knowledge, competency, and in-depth field experience in adopting SAFe, and Lean-Agile practices in the enterprise
  • Collaborating with cross-functional domain experts to relentlessly improve our in-market learning assets, tools and platform services
  • Ideating and experimenting to innovate, prototype and test our next generation horizon 2 and horizon 3 products
  • Coaching and developing partner and customer SPCs & SPCTs/iSPCTs to increase their knowledge and skills
  • Utilizing your effective stakeholder management aptitude to strengthen our community and provide value to our strong global SAFe network.
  • Engaging with the SAFe community as a subject matter expert by speaking at events or contributing to engagements.

Required skills & experience

  • 5+ years Agile experience with at least 3+ years SAFe implementation experience
  • Previous experience working in or with enterprise customers adopting complex large scale transformations
  • Current SPC or SAFe Program Consultant Trainer certification
  • Participated in, as lead or Lean-Agile Center of Excellence member, two or more full SAFe ART launches
  • Participated in two or more full Inspect & Adapt events in the enterprise
  • Experience teaching SAFe courses such as Leading SAFe, SAFe for Teams, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, or Lean Portfolio Management
  • Certifications such as CST, CSM, CSPO, PMI/ACP, LKU, PSM, PMP desirable

We are located in Northeast Boulder, situated on the hill above Valmont Bike Park, offering a wonderful view of the Mountains. Most of our employees continue to work remotely while at the same time we enjoy the ability to gather for planning and lunch is served on Wednesdays.

In two short years, we’ve transformed from having English-only materials to providing courses and learning materials in seven different languages. We have more work to do but I’m thrilled that our customers are learning and practicing SAFe® in their own language.
